One with little fat kid on verge of tears saying "First Bama game ever" was solid too.

I didn't watch this game at all. Any blueprints either way for LSU to follow in beating either team? I realize we don't play either one until November, and there is plenty of football between now and then. Very surprised to see such a high-scoring game, especially the fact that Ole Miss hung 40+ on Bama.

Yes, the blue print was throw the ball and don't try to run inside.

For Ole Miss, it's Fournette, and repeat. They can't stop him. Henry ran all over them last night.

For Bama it's gotta be balance. If LSU can make Bama respect the pass, and with Harris' ability to scramble, that's the blueprint, balance.

I agree, although Ole Miss does have a pretty good front 7. They'll be a much tougher test than AU, plus we'll have to match their scoring.

I think we'll wear them down as the game goes however. Plus, it's later in the season, and those guys may be a bit banged up by then.

If Alabama would have stuck with the run instead of getting all pass happy early, maybe they don't turn the ball over so much. Plus, what was Saban thinking starting Bateman in his first game against Ole Miss? That was moronic. Coker hasn't been terrible.

Definitely. OM will wear down. If we try to run around them, their speed will hurt us. We need to run right at them.

For Bama's D, I am not sure what they will be like by the time we play them. I suspect they will fix their D issues. OM was all over the place, but they proved that the forward pass might be needed...
