The problem is Les is trying to drive a nail with a screwdriver. Gotta use the right tool.

I'll take Kirby Smart tomorrow. We can't get Saban back but he's had enough time with him to how to do it the right way.

Maybe? Kirby has never been a HC, number of interviews. Did he turn down jobs or interview went bad?

Bobby Williams has had more time with him, might want to look at him. Oh wait, he took over for nick at Mich St, but it is so easy to maintain a program, wonder what happened?

You are right about that Dad, you never know how it will turn out in a different position. Being the head guy is not always everyone's cup of tea. Look how many coordinators, both college and pro, have made the jump and failed. I would like to see some consistency (or should I say positive consistency) with our offense. Les seemed to have had better offenses when Crowton, and others were allowed to spread the field and mix the run and pass. We all (well not all, some accurately called it) thought the coordinators were the problem, but it appears the issue is the antiquated philosophy. We move the ball better when we spread the defense and that goes for running as well as passing and trick plays. Our athletes perform better in open space and I think Cam would do that if allowed to. I sure hope, though I doubt it will happen, someone can reach this guy and tell him to get the horses and let the coaches ride them.

Agree, like I said, a HeadCoaching job is not a plug and play position. The Hat has to wear so many hats. For every hire that hits, there are 20 misses. What are the odds?
