Uga tried to make a similar argument that Bama is now making. They got hammered back then for failing to win their conference and division. They ended up in the Sugar Bowl. A similar fate could await Bama. Hard to say right now.

The true reason Alabama is on this forum and not tidefan is that he got banned for not worshiping Saban after Nov 5th. Alabama is the one that is scared of the rematch. He just can't go over to tidefan.com and say, Hey boys, I know we can win against LSU.

Nor did we lose 2 games this year. Yes, we lost to LSU, by a field goal in overtime! Yet, OSU, or VT, or Houston is somehow more worthy? Y'all should really sit down and listen to yourselves.

JFC, man. Give it a rest already. Sure, they can make their arguments as well. No one is saying that Bama doesn't have an argument, but if it was cut and dry, then there would be no discussion. You just think there is no discussion, but OSU and VT would have an argument with you as Conference Champs. Go talk to them. We don't give a fark here about your silly arguments.

Shoot in order to make a playoff you had to "win" your conference all your logic and argument means dick!

Bama lost, Bama is out! They shouldn't make the playoffs! They didn't win their conference.

+1 You could make a book out of the excuses the gumps have after they lost to us. That is if you can get them to admit they even lost.

Let's get things nice and sparkling clear.

It has to do with principle, not fear. If you believe bama will beat LSU in the dome be prepared for the depression like you felt on Nov. 5th.

And rwilliams post is dead on, whether you like it or not. Bama fans are screaming for a rematch now, but IF they get it they will wish they hadn't after the game.

LSU is going to solve the BCS problem by winning out.

The best thing for Bama football will be for OKST to go to the NC and be the team that gets beat. That way Bama can continue to get the pity that they seem to deserve.

The worst thing for Bama football will be for them to go to the NC game. They will get beat again, and their entire fantasy world will collapse in around them. Everyone will clearly see that Saban is not the coach that they thought he was. With all of the first round talent that went out last year, he lost to LSU. With all of his first round talent this year, he loses to LSU twice.

    They just don't get it.

I'm sorry Sugar, but I just don't see it that way. I'd rather play, and lose, then to not play at all. My guess is that 99% of the LSU fans feel the same way.
