And to the Bama fans reading this thread. The banning of all LSU fans by one of your football forums is as classless an act as I've seen in a long time. Makes you look like a bunch of insecure insular napoleonic rednecks having a little itty bitty baby temper tantrum.

Its a big world. You should get out more.

It's the system that is flawed, so teams with lesser records have been winning CCG and conference titles for the last 20 years. The Pac 10 and big 10 have not had to play in a single CCG in all these 20 years to make it to the big dance. Nebraska and Oklahoma, have made it to the NC game losing their CCG. It short, CCG are tits on a bull, as far as representing what is fair and even for everyone.

Bama making it to the BCS dance, should be no different and should offer no apology considering what has transpired the last 20 years, trying to get the two best teams in the NC games.

None of that makes any difference. The top two teams play for the NC and that is the way it should be. I just hate the idea of playing Bama again. Hopefully Auburn will either beat them or play them a close game, but I doubt if either will happen.

We have the much harder way to the bcscg. First we must beat a motivated arky with one of our star defensive backs likely out. Second we must beat a red hot ga team who's coach was on his last leg coming into this season. He is motivated to keep his job and his team wants desperately to get an invite to the sugar bowl.

What does bama have to do? Beat a demoralized au team that was destroyed by lsu. Au stands about as much of a chance of winning as ull would- zero to none.
Bama then sits back and watches the rest of college football play for nothing because none of them will pass bama.
We have two killer games aginst some of the best competition in America and bama plays one game aginst a team that they could beat even if they left their entire starting offense at home and saban went to jamacia to drink cocktails and smoke herb instead of coaching at the game.

So, now you are saying that it is not FAIR that LSU should have to play Arkansas, even though they are part of your regular season schedule and an SEC West team. I've never seen a fan base whine so much about playing in a conference championship game.

Yeah, Auburn and Arkansas shouldn't be part of this discussion. It's not unfair, we both have to play them.

If okie state wins their conference, why do they not deserve to play for the Bcs championship over bama who will be sitting at home watching championship games from their sofa. I know the osu/ ou game isn't a championship game in name but it is for the championship of their conference. What about vt? If vt wins their conference over a tough Clemson team, the team that beat them, why don't they deserve to play instead of a team that couldn't win their division or conference? What entitles bama to jump these champions? Bama isn't a champion this year.

For the same reason a one loss LSU team should go ahead of a one loss Okie Lite. If a two time, SEC loss, Georgia team beats LSU next week, thet will call them SEC champions. When at best they would be tied for 3rd in the SEC standings in wins and losses.

If that happens and you're OK with Okie Lite playing VT for the NC, just say so. You are OK with that, aren't you?
