I just hope PJ is back cause TB is stinking it up. To say he's not quick with his first step is an understatement.

Look for more Adams/Montgomery/Edwards at DE and less of Mingo (who's the "thinnest").

Wouldn't surprise me to see Mingo's role for the Bama game to be reduced to passing situations (multiple WR set/shotgun).

Our size at DT isn't as glarring as how light we are with Mingo and Montgomery both on the ends. Our true test will come at LB. They've been the "quiet" group so far and they can't be so quiet vs Bama.

The yardage they gained means nothing to me, my concern is simply when we play a big physical run between the tackles type offense, that our linebackers will not very good run support. Sideline to sideline i'm not real worried.....between the tackles may be our weakness.

I feel we are a good running team also and most teams we have played have had success in the first half stacking the box to shut down our running game then in the second half their lack of depth shows up and we start gashing them. So with our depth why wouldn't we stack the box on Bama? We dont have to worry about being gassed late in the game with our depth and I trust our corners to man up on the outside and out physical their receivers. I mean are you guys that worried about Bama throwing all over the feild? I know TR will have a good game but he doesn't have to own it we can limit him somewhat.

I was disappointed that Tenn ,which had not been having much success with the running game, was able to sustain a running attack against the Tigers that led to their TD. While watching the game, I can't help wondering if the Tigers have a glaring weakness against the run, and if Bama is licking their chops.

Chief has changed/tweaked his defense against every team hes played this year. Stats are good, but I'm looking for the end result.

Oregons QB went down.............now on his feet.

you all are missing the point. Pound for pound I think we are every bit as good as bama. Their D "could" be a little better but it is hard to tell based on who they've played. I think our O is better than theirs so that is a wash.

What will bite us in the ass is the inability to either A- have a kicker that can boot the damn thing into the end zone or more importantly B- be able to tackle the sorry bastard with the ball before he runs 20+ yards. Our kick coverage SUCKS!!!!!! Auburn has the speed to make this hurt as does bama. Someone on the staff had better fix this sh!t pronto. This team cannot beat bama if they allow them to have 60 yd fields on a regular basis.

Yeah, kickoff distance has been a problem this season. But you'd better get used to it.

It's a problem (how deep we can kick it) that coaches can't fix let alone fix it "pronto". What are you gonna do?? If we dont have a kicker that has the strength to kick it consistantly into the endzone there's absolutely NOTHING you can do about that. There's no amount of squats, leg press or HGH that our kickers can do over the next 3 weeks that would make their legs stronger than what they are right now.

It's like telling a QB he's got to throw the ball 75 yards when his max distance is 60. Or telling a player he's got to run a 4.3-forty when the best he's ever done is a 4.5.
