He got back to Portland late at night from ESPN, needed a ride back to Eugene, called Cliff, fell asleep in the car when Cliff wasnt even driving, woke up with the cops outside the window. What terrible leadership. Getting a ride back home and falling asleep in the car. For you LSU fans, thats why you dont believe a word that comes out of Clownzanos mouth.
People are such spin doctors. If you really believe your own post I have a bridge I'll sell ya.:dis:
What does it matter? Even if true, The guys picking him up decided to smoke before they picked him up at an airport. Sounds like great teammates...let's pick up our star quarterback when there had been weed in the car and then drive back going 118.
Here's the bottom line. I'm not saying DT did ANYTHING himself, and I couldn't care less if he's disciplined or not. He isn't our problem. BUT...Kelly looks and sounds like an idiot when he claims DT is this great leader..."the best he's been around". Judging from the fact that DT has been an "innocent bystander" when 3 of his teammates have broken the law, and two of them had weed in the car when they did it, that tells me he's no leader at all. He's the epitome of a follower. Birds of a feather flock together.
Believe what you want. I trust DT, and that he's telling the truth. He's never given us a reason to doubt that. Here's the article, in case you'd like to read it. Oregon quarterback Darron Thomas denies smoking pot, says he was asleep in a passenger seat when teammate Cliff Harris was speeding on I-5 | OregonLive.com
Why do you guys feel the need to discuss this on an LSU forum? I mean, I like that you are here talking about the game, but as stated...couldn't care less about DThomas's "leadership" exhibitions. Who are you trying to convince here? Because I gotta tell ya something...you won't convince any LSU fans he's all innocent. We've already been there and done that with our own "always in the wrong place at the wrong time" QB. Our coach suspended him and eventually kicked him off the team.
