Just throwing this in for sake of discussion. I find the fan, myself included, frustrated with the general ineptness. It's like any job. If you don't change with the job, update, learn new ways. It eventually gets to a point that you are just too far behind to catch up. We (as fans) really just do not know how much Les has to do with the offensive scheme/debacle. Cam is supposed to a be a QB and offensive guru. Of course, his methods (if they're indeed his), are antiquated at best. He is used to pro ball. He has not adapted to college ball today, and maybe he just can't. The job is so different that it has left him behind. If Miles is completely controlling the offense, then that easily explains it. If Cam has a great deal of control, and this is what he has fielded, then sayonara to him. I think LSU fans understand better than any sports reporter what is happening. Miles has had great years. Yet, even in a undefeated year, he could not finish. (the general unfairness of that game not withstanding). The fans are the ones that watch LSU intently week in and week out. We are the ones who have grown tired of the methods and more than occasional bungling that is hurting the program. Maybe most think as I do. I can think of countless coaches who would romp ANY opponent with the talent on LSU's field. Miles wins well occasionally, but when the tires continue to spin in the mud, eventually you can no longer get out without a better plan.

No one has yet to answer this . Did Les not give most of the fans the QB they wanted ??? How many QB's left LSU before the start of last season , has another having 2nd thoughts about coming to LSU now . For some reason it seems only LSU fans do not know the problem @ LSU Quarterback, , .
.What does it mean when a player says "Team B fits me better than LSU ??"

MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO ME WHAT EVER HAPPENS I WILL STILL BE A GEAUX TIGER FAN
We maybe able to get Vandy's HC or Bama's O coach I cannot think of any coach who would want to be @ LSU
it will be 2 or 3 years before we can get the offense that can win in the SEC
Oh, do not forget the Defense
    HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!

People believe that if we replace Miles now it will be one less season flushed down the toilet. The gig is over, everyone has Miles figured out. The best we could hope for is competing for 3rd or 4th in the West. No reason to spend another season doing that and then letting him go. The time has come to move on. Expecting a first year coach to compete for a national championship is every bit as realistic as expecting Miles to get his act together. Neither one is likely, but if I had to put my money on one I'd bet on the new coach.

Larry Coker won the NC his first year as head coach at the U and he wasn't even a good coach. Now he is coach at UTSA.

Since the Coker firing, does the U still play football or did they opt out, like Tennessee & Solich U?

I think Miles deserves another year. He needs to make some changes in his coaching staff before next year, if he does that he gets one more year if he isn't willing to do that then bye bye.

completely false, the next 9 seasons were arguably more successful than Mac's last 9 seasons

I will not miss CLM. I just think back to how many gimmick plays were needed to get wins.. The product that he put on the field was hard to watch at times

Right but you have to be in a position to win those games with gimmick plays. He put his team in a position to win those games.
