We're taking the USL approach and shortening our name to overstate our importance, as I've suggested in this thread: http://forums.tigerfan.com/college-sports-forum/107070-ragin-cajuns-5-1-a.html
+ 1 Million. Only people who don't give a rat's a$$ about tradition are for these abomination. Nike only wants one game now, but as soon as sales go up, they will ask (pay) for 2 games, then 3, etc. This, combined with the CBS bull$sh!t of taking away our night games, and now the super-conferences are going to methodically destroy everything good about college football. In 20 years, you won't be able to recognize college football compared to what it is today. This is just a microcosm of what has happened in our country. Little by little special interests take away more and more of what we hold/held dear, and before you realize it, sh!t is FUBAR'd. :dis:
Well, to be honest, Cholly Mac used to sport a baseball cap that had a single, "L". That lone "L" USED to be used by the school in the decades ago thru the '70's. It's Nike's feeble attempt at tossing in SOMETHING they deem "traditional". ...but ultimately it's a swing and miss....again.
Like I have said before. I like football. Not football entertainment. Not football fashion. If plain ol football is not enough for you, get the hell out of Dodge. Simple.
That's why I, for the life of me, don't know WHY this game was chosen to wear these uniforms. Seems to me that if we have to see these abominations for uniforms, they would have brought them out vs Arkansas....a team with helmets OTHER THAN WHITE!
