I think the only shock value that this article brings forth is the shock that anyone would actually put such garbage in print. If he was going for the attempt at getting a rise out of the LSU fans I would label it an epic fail, for it appears most of us take it for what it is, crap.
If Saban was the coach he's made out to be, he'd have at least 1 NC at MSU and he would not have stunk it up at Miami. Period!
And Saban left Michigan State in such great shape that his replacement coach went 6-15 in the Big Ten over his three seasons as MSU head coach, and this is despite the fact that Mich State took Saban's recommendation on the head coach that should replace him, Bobby Williams. Just because a great coach leaves a program in great shape doesn't mean the next head coach is automatically going to be a winner. Just looking at Alabama's last national-championship-winning coach before Saban: Gene Stallings was 70-16-2 (43-12-1 in SEC play) at Alabama, then his predecessor, Mike Dubose, was 24-23 (16-16 in SEC play).
