Re: Trent Richardson Yeah, this is what I saw as well. He said he's up in the air, hopefully Florida has about a 50/50 chance. He fell in love with his visit here... Whoever said there would be no playing time: Florida has been looking for a guy to take Tebow's goal line carries since the start of last year. Richardson would definitely be that guy as a freshman. There's also a common misconception about Florida's run game. People think it's all outside and all shifty, but most of it is done inside the tackles. It's getting to the second level where the speed guys are what you want. Encouraging news, but I still feel he ends up at Alabama...

But some of their fans are starting to push me away. They call me all the time, send me flowers, show up to my high school games and track meets, and are just generally coming across as overly desperate. You know; a guy likes to have the door held for him and stuff like that, but they want me to do weird stuff like calling them when I get home to 'make sure I made it in alright' and always dissecting everything I say to my other friends in order to find hidden meanings. I know they mean well and they really are nice guys, but they are just trying to move this relationship along too fast. We should be in the early stages of getting to know each other, but they are really pressuring me to make a commitment to them before I technically can. My mistake was letting them force me into saying some things I may not have meant early on. Now that I want to play the field and see what else might be out there, they're acting as if I'm leading them on...which is not my intention. I really like Alabama and would love to spend my college career there, but the desperation is making me uneasy." _________________________________________________________________________ John Parker Wilson's final 2 drives resulted in a fumble and an interception...at first I was like "WTF?" Re: Trent Richardson If Richardson really said that, it was fairly articulate for a high school senior.
Re: Trent Richardson Trent said his brother is a big influence at this point. His brother plays for UL-L. FWIW.
Re: Trent Richardson Trent and his brother are close too. Close enough to really listen to his advice at least. Somebody send the brother something good to eat. In a P&G basket.
Re: Trent Richardson Tell me where he lives and I'll leave a Old Tyme poboy by his door. No one can resist an Old Tyme Poboy...
Re: Trent Richardson ooooh, wow. This is huge, if he really said that. That's difficult to believe. Already been deleted off tidesports.com.
