I believe what you are talking about is Meyer telling Jevan Snead, who was committed to UF at the time, that Tebow was being recruited as a LB.
If I remember correctly, Meyer has quite a few document incidents where he was caught lying to recruits. He also gets ugly when things dont go his way like turning in Patrick Peterson for grades and telling Toliver we dont qualify players. I know some coaches tell players anything but Meyer seems like one of the dirtier recruiters.
Hope hes telling the truth. Much rather play Florida running a traditional offense even with a guy like Richardson.
I love all this discussion on this subject but I think on NSD we'll be on the outside looking in on the Trent Richardson sweepstakes. I would love to get him but I think there's about a 20 percent chance he comes to LSU. Reuben Randle's dad did tell me that Trent and Reuben were getting pretty tight FWIW. Don't think it will make a difference. Although, I guess it could hurt our chances with Randle.
