Got the first whiff of nervousness from my BIG MUTHA FUGGIN GUMP boss this morning. Specifically, they are slightly worried about Florida because Richardson has some recruiting adviser who is an asst at Escambia. He said this coach is a Florida fan and they think he is pushing Richardson hard towards the Gators.

He still thinks they will get Richardson. He said TR was in tusc 5 times this fall on his own dime and has developed close relationships with many on the team. He did admit that Florida, and this asst coach adviser, have created some confusion for Richardson.

and here comes the typical bama crap...they think Meyer is trying to make a statement by stealing Richardson from Saban. He said "Meyer knows deep down that we are the biggest threat in the SEC and he would love to show Saban up."

He actually thinks I believe him. I've been hearing this shiit so long it just makes me laugh. :insane:

I care. I don't want what will probably be the best competition in our division to have him. I know Ole piss had a good team last year, but I think in the future it will be Bama and us determining who goes to the SEC championship game, just like it was Auburn and LSU in past years. We have to win the division before we have a shot at the championship(s).

Word is that the purpose of Andre Debose's FSU visit this week is to talk to Trent about UF.

The advisor is apparetly saying its a "dead heat" but doesn't say 'tween who, at least according to this here article:

"I do think that prior to last night, Alabama was still in the lead," Boyd told the site. "Now it's probably a dead heat until (signing day)."

Article date was Jan. 27, Florida's visit was the 26th. If it was a Bama lead "until last night" then it means Florida if I'm interpreting this.

The real thing I took from that was the Bammer fans' comments. All of the sudden Eddie Lacy is a helluva lot better than he ever was before.

I hope Florida gets Trent, I've never been overly impressed by him (but I haven't seen much. He's a good runner, but he seems to just run straight and forward)... Anyway, we'll see on NSD.

Here is something else I heard today.

Meyer is telling Richardson..."Tebow will be moved under center next year to showcase his talents for the NFL making it necessary to have a top flight RB in the backfield"
