What makes you think Zook wouldn't have won it anyway? Who recruited and coached Chris Leak, you know the quarterback that went 25/36 for 213 yards in that game ? Why did Urban Myth go 9 and 4 with so much talent? Because he ain't all that, thats why.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that you are talking smack yourself, even if you think you are being polite about it. You guys have a great team, had a great run, and return most everyone for next year. I happen to believe Harvin was far more important than you give him credit for, but time will tell. If you truly believe you are going to see a repeat performance over all the SEC(especially LSU), that really is not a problem. However, proclaiming it on rival boards is not going to go unchallenged. Unlikely that the fans of any team will lay down for that kind of statement, much less LSU. Perhaps you forgot, but LSU recently won it's 2nd BCSC as well, and did it before you. We are a fairly loaded team, with a revamped defense, a more confident and capable QB, and another top rated recruiting class again. Just what the heck do you think we are going to do? Move to the ACC? You do have a good chance to repeat next year. As good a chance as anybody else has had recently. But extrapolating that to an easy road or thinking you are going to blow everyone out is a bit premature and short sighted. Doing so on a rival board, no matter how friendly, is just plain stupid.
If the football thing doesn't work out, Shep could always start his own recruiting service. Probably as accurate as the rest of 'em anyway.
