Having a terrible quarterback is not a fluke. Look at Florida's schedule, they'll make it that far. They're going for an undefeated season for the first time in school history because it's Tebow's senior year. There aren't many teams on the schedule that return enough talent to compete.

I'm not trying to say nobody else has a chance, but don't act like Florida doesn't have a very easy road this year.

BB11, I don't know where the hostility is coming from. I'm just saying you ask most people outside of this place and they tell you it goes Bama, Florida, LSU, in that order. Both of us have an outside shot at best, and I'm not counting Richardson into this class by any means. I doubt we'll even get him. You guys are posting stuff about LSU, I'm posting stuff I've heard about Florida. Non-Gator fans can't handle anything that gives Florida any sliver of credit because we won the NC this year.

As the line above my avatar says, I'm a "Gator Hater", but I'm confused about the part where no one is giving Florida credit because they won the title. Almost every post on every board I've read said that Florida deserved the title and will be very very loaded again next year. Have you been spending a lot of time on the gump board?

Gump? Not sure what that is. I mean that I've been to a number of non-UF sites, and any time I post something positive about our recruiting or status for next year it's all "Not so fast, our team..." or "Actually, you're wrong because our team...", etc. Everyone gives UF credit for the NC. I appreciate that. Everything beyond that I have gotten constant amounts of smack for posting and it doesn't really make sense. I'm not intending to lend myself to hostility.

I guess most people "outside of this place" rank Bama ahead of Florida and LSU based on their dominance of Utah in the sugar bowl .

    (no hostility intended at all)

I assumed you meant getting to the seccg. The "assuming you get that far" was your quote. I just ran with it :).

If the Gators plan to stay on top get used to a little hostility, it comes with the territory. Also I think a large majority despise your coach which adds to the hostility. The SEC is very competitive and folks take their football seriously, no one wants to be second best. Like I said, I hate the Gators but you can't say things don't look good for the program and I find it hard to believe that more than one or two morons here would. That being said you can expect a few teams to compete with them next year and every year. There are several programs in the SEC in very solid shape.

I look forward to seeing our Gator friends visit for the game this year. Wife is from Florida and I lived there a few years. I hope to show them a good time and send them home with their tail between their legs like a whooped pup.

You have no idea about Trent Richardson. He just visited LSU this weekend, and he has not come out saying his trip to Florida was so much better. You are dilusional.

Yes, the Gators are the odds on favorite to win the SEC this year. We all know how that prediction, is just that, a prediction. What if Tebow gets hurt this year? You run into another Ole Miss team? LSU shows up with a different style attack than your used to? Your team thinks they are the best, and does not play hard?

Just too many variables. That is why we play the games. Go tell all your Gator friends how you are going to win this year. Not us, we really do not care about the Gators.

I'm not sure why you feel that the visit they enjoy the most is the best indicator. He has already chosen to play for the team that ranks no better than third in his visits, so your essentially bringing up a point with little merit.

If you look at something like offensive scheme or playing time, the edge very clearly belongs to LSU. A guy like Richardson would be a waste with Urban Meyer calling the shots (and the plays) at UF.

Don't get angry at me... :D

He said that the only reason he gave Florida a 10 for that visit was becuase it was duing the celebration....nothing else and that his lsu visit was an 8 to 9 and that he really enjoyed it and put some rest to some of his concerns...

no one will know until signing day with these kids...
