Not sure who this guy is, but he apparently has his own recruiting service. http://www.tharinger.com/Recruiting.aspx "Word out of Alabama is that Trent Richardson is all but gone. My guess would be he's headed to LSU. Florida and Florida State have an outside chance w/ UF having the better chance."
oh look, i found a real quote. "I am still committed to Alabama. Nothing has changed with that," said Richardson. "If I changed my mind, it wouldn't be until Signing Day and that is when I am making my final decision. I am getting a lot of people getting in my ear and trying to pull me in different directions. It is wearing on me for sure, and I will be glad to get everything over with once I sign." - rivals.com
Dead on. As good as Tebow is physically, his leadership for that team is unrivaled. I feel for the QB that follows him. Heck, the QB that started in front of him won a NC and was overshadowed. I can't help but think Shep has similar qualities.
I think that site is a rumor mill with zero credibility. I would love to have Richardson but getting our hopes up when so much evidence contradicts that statement is simply jerking our chain. I dont think its credible at all concerning Richardson.
They return all 11 defensive starters and lose Percy and Watkins on offense. We have plenty of offensive tackle talent and Deonte Thompson, Andre Debose, and plenty of others will fill Percy's gap. I realize that this is the SEC, but c'mon. We're talking about a top ten defense that returns every player and adds plenty of experience with the new year. If you're telling me LSU will be close, I really think you should reconsider. You're starting quarterback started what? 2 games this season? 3? Georgia lost all of their talent, Tennessee won't be close, and we don't play either Alabama or Ole Miss until the SECCG (assuming we make it that far). Look, I see what you're saying. This isn't the Big 10 where three teams consistently claim the crown. But Florida returns almost EVERYONE and the SEC isn't what it was a few years ago. It's still good, but not THAT good. Most of the talent is in the West right now, Florida is in the East. As for the USC comment, I mean that the transition will go smoothly. I don't mean Brantley will throw for 37 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in his first year. And you guys might get angry at me, but Florida is in 2nd for Richardson, and LSU is in 3rd. He was blown away by our visit, and was quoted in an article saying that his LSU visit wasn't as good as Florida's, and I've shown you some local talk saying he's very seriously considering Florida. I don't know where this guy is getting LSU from, they're in a distant 3rd from Bama and a decent 2nd behind Florida.
See ya in the seccg- and, by the way, last year was a fluke season for LSU. (assuming you make it that far)
Dude, seriously, I am in Florida and your locals are almost as delusional as the Gumps...you think you are entitled to everything before you even get it. We know where we stand with TR so go run your rants on your local Gaytor site...its tiring already. We also know that NO ONE really knows except for the kid and there is just as good a chance he winds up in BR as Gainesville. It also means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things in BR it the kid doesnt come here...so you are doing nothing for us.
