Not saying you didn't hear that but it contradicts what many said for the past 4 months on Scout, etc... Sonny had sources a few months ago saying he could be one of our 1st commits and Porter was still here. He was also mentioning committing early after the July camp this summer.
No idea who Sonny's sources are. And "I heard that..." implies a second hand source. Nope. Me and Tommy Minton, no one else in the room. Tommy said after Hill from Redemptorist committed, Porter really started pushing for Kenny to commit as well. A lot of,"you're not afraid of a little competition, are you?" kind of pushing. Anyone who's seen Kenny play knows he's not afraid of competition, and he didn't like the strategy Porter was using on him.
Kids say things and he was quoted as saying almost the opposite in Scout and Rivals articles. Sonny heard his tidbits directly from Hilliard as well. No denying he was jumping up and down after the 1st or 2nd playoff victory that we (LSU) were going to take Bama out. Either way we know these kids change their tone from one day to the next and Wilson had to make the decision easier for him. IMO we will not have to worry about him decommitting.
