I think he made a visit with coach O in the last week.....Probably (hopefully) made that one an early one with no true intentions other than getting a feel for the process and some kind of gauge for comparison.
Rivals has LSU, USC, and ND listed as high. I believe some recruiting services did have Perrilloux ranked number one. He was also the national high school player of the year. I think Berlin was also the number one ranked player nationally.
McKnight says it's impossible to separate those 3 teams right now on his list. Look for him to probably announce on national signing day.
Just a guess, I thought he was just Gatorade Player of the Year and was never ranked #1. But I could be wrong.
Im not sure, but wasnt Perrilloux number one on the ESPN list? I cant name any recruiting service that did have him number one, but for some reason I thought I heard of him being number one. I may very well be wrong.
Perry-Lou was #16 on Rivals' top 100 list: http://lsu.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?ra_key=817 Early was #3 on the same list for his recruiting class: http://lsu.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?ra_key=464
Yes you are right he was considered #1 by ESPN. For some reason I thought you were talking about Berlin.
I did mention Berlin. He wasnt considered the number one prospect his senior year? I know he was extremely highly touted. Unfortunately he was a bust. Perrilloux was also a national player of the year. Not sure if it was the Gatorade POY.
I just looked up Gatorade POY. Peyton, Berlin, and Travis Minor were the only National Gatorade POY from Louisiana. http://playeroftheyear.gatorade.com...h&lvl=N&sprt=FB&yr=&st=LA&schl=&button=search State POY had RP. TRis year Jason Peters won the state award. http://playeroftheyear.gatorade.com...ch&lvl=&sprt=FB&yr=&st=LA&schl=&button=search
"Learn how to spell his name, you stupid moron...ridiculous" Thanks for the red dot. I'm sure I won't sleep tonight. Oh yeah, "stupid moron" is redundant.
