    Does that translate into the Scouts recruiting service listing him as #1?

    Rivals still has him as #10.

    Has Louisiana had a #1 in any of the major rankings? (ESPN, Scout, Rivals)

    I remember Early was # 3 for Rivals, but I cannot think of anyone higher since the advent of online recruiting??

    Whatever Joe's ranking is we want him. I will have the opportunity to meet Early Doucet Sr. today. I'll let him know how much we all apprecitate his son coming to LSU and playing hard for the Tigers !

    EDIT: Early's dad is a very quiet and softspoken. There is no queston Early is his son, man they look alike. He told me that he is looking forward to going to the Sugar Bowl. Oh, and his nickname is "Deuce" .

    We gotta have this kid. This is all I want for Christmas. I would hate to see such a homegrown talent get taken from out state.

    Rivals has his listed as the #1 ATHLETE. His is not listed as a running back.

    Well I know that, what I was asking is whether this ESPN report translates into the Scouts, Inc. listing of recruits having him #1 overall?

    Rivals has him #10 overall in the nation right now.

    Scouts Inc and Scout.com are different outfits. Scouts Inc. is ESPN's own ranking service, which is worse than scout.com at ranking btw.
