Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M GeauxTigers, I had to change my background pic on my computer to that awesome pic you posted.
Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M I'm still waiting for something to stick. The slinging continues, however.
Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M Do you think we might offer him this late in the game? Especially after losing a RB commit.. and another 'big back'.. For the life of me I can't figure out any reasons not to. I can't imagine him scaring off Lache next year.. completely different styles. Seeing his myspace page.. with an LSU background.. frick :cuss: Consider me officially on the wagon.
Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M nice pic, is this the secret back one of the recruiting guys mentioned? im not afraid to admit im a star whore so i'll take michael!
Re: Christine Micheals, do we have a shot? I agree with this. I think you and I from the outset have had the same thought process with this kid. I hate the thought that we would go after him with our head between our legs after losing Pratt, rather than offering him when he was at the pinnacle of wanting to commit to LSU. Who knows if we even go after him at this point, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why not. I have seen plausible reasons posted here, but still he is a 5*RB that seemingly wanted to come to LSU and we have a slot available..... go get him, IMHO.
Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M NSD is a frantic, furious day and when the dust settles and the fax machines stop jamming many are reminded of the chaotic hillarity of Mardi Gras day. Michaels may still sign with LSU and the staff may really want him as well. However, no one really knows what signing him early may do to the committments of other signees already on board. The impulsiveness and insecurity of the youth psyche is not something to be ignored. Signing Michaels early may lead to a recruit like Ford thinking that his value at LSU may be diminished and plant a seed that he may want to look at other universities before NSD. I think Michaels may very well wind up at a program other than AtM and he may change his mind more than once on National Signing Day. NSD is fast becoming what the NFL draft used to be: horse racing thrills without betting the mortgage.
Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M as long as we get the fax that says "Rueben Randle" and "Mingo", that will be plenty good for me.. but we have more spots, so we can get greedy, right? Montgomery? Myles? Stinson, Jones, Jones, Xavier, Logan? Maybe we land Seatrunk next year? (his film is the best I've seen) Steve Ridley sure looks promising to me? Cecil Collins like in mop up action. Murphy needs space, but is explosive, he can't seem to run between tackles yet...studder steps too much. Did anyone notice Dandy Don's forecast this morning? he has Trent Richardson up to 50% chance for LSU? but has Bama and UF listed as well. TR percent has changed from 5% to 50% ..crazy optimism? Or does the Les Miles Wants TR or bust have some more legs than we thought?
