Re: Michaels commits to Texas A&M

I don't know if I have seen a single writeup questioning Michael's character this entire recruiting season.

That part seems to be merely conjecture and probably unfair.

I think schools just don't think he is that great of a back. But with ESPN and rivals.com never waivering on this issue, it's befuddling to say the least.

Did we see any writeups questioning Perrilloux's character as a recruit?

We typically don't see those types of articles - regardless of whether they are warranted.

Whether it makes it into an article or not doesn't make it any more or less true, but I agree that it is conjecture.

I have never heard anything negative about his character. It did seem a bit flaky to state how badly he wanted to go to LSU and then not make it on campus. Perhaps that is what some people are referring to. The only thing I have read or heard from people here in TX is that he is a little soft, and gets nicked up a lot. I never saw him play, much less followed his career, but multiple, big-time coaching staffs took a pass.

Perhaps he will have the kind of career at AtM that will make them all regret waving him off. Or perhaps not.

I am not beating anyone's drum, other than, what I read and saw with my own eyes, the kids seems like a great get for A$M.

Just posing the question. "Does LSU want to open up th talks or is it too late anyways?"

TR is a pipe dream correct? he is all BAMA from what I have read.

This is great class.. It's amazing what it could have been with Debose or Campbell..in the mix

If we miss on RR, that will be a huge dissappointment in my eyes on awesome this class could have been. Miles is doing a great job. a lot of early great players committed.. Just seems so long since we recieved great news.. Loston was great news, but we sort of knew about him..

I hope we can close really strong with Mingo and Randle

The question is: "who will be our suprise get?" We lost 1 we didn't expect, which seems to happen every year. I think Jackson keeps his committment.

Who ya got as a suprise pick up that is realistic?

Do we have any shot at Jarvis Jones?

Montgomery? UNC now has 29 verbal commitments... I don't think they have room for Sam Montgomery.. That maybe just what we needed?

Recruiting is a a strange beast at best. Before this year, fans complained because we didn't get commits fast enough. This year we got a ton of them early and have long dry spells before the last ones. It's impossible to please all of us, but the end results still look pretty good.

I think Pratt going elsewhere is irrelevant to CM getting an offer. I believe that LSU closed, or never opened the book on him a long time ago. Pratt switching like this leads me to say someone was in his ear before this last weekend. Regardless, it doesn't seem like he wants to be here so we may just have to move on and wish him luck.

Who is left? Mingo, Randle, Montgomery, Myles, Kelly, Jones, Johns, Logan, and a few more? I personally think Mingo and RR are done deals. People have also expressed concern over Jackson wavering but I think he sticks. I honestly would prefer another DL and DB, so Montgomery and Myles would suit me fine.

I keep reading about doubts of Trent actually going to bama, but just can't put much stock in it. If he decommits, that will be the biggest surprise of signing day, imo.

If RR commits(wherever) before signing day, it will be a boring bash...

He changed it within the last week back to an LSU myspace theme.
