I don't think when he visited had anything to do with an offer.

I don't believe he made any camps though, which may have hurt him as he could've earned a scholie there. However, ultimately, our coaches watched him in person plenty & he just didn't warrant an offer from what they saw & what we already have.

Michael might've done himself some favors by attending camps, but that's his decision & I am not going to knock a kid for it.

I know he missed a scheduled camp that he planned on not participating in but watching for an unofficial visit and at least another unofficial to make up for the one he missed.

He did handle his recruiting process well though but his missed trips did not help him in getting an offer from LSU.

Gotcha. btw, I was not trying to imply he is not a good kid, just was curious about his handling of camps/visits.

I watched bits and pieces of the game but on what i saw of him: Read his blocks, showed good speed and made some good cuts. Sucks we couldnt land him

But he was def overshadowded by Bryce Brown.

I thought he looked good. As far as Bryce Brown goes, he is definitely a running back and not a receiver because he dropped two balls when he got behind the defense.

I thought he looked strong. He is going to be a dynamite back at the next level, IMO.

Well, we could have - we just chose not to.

I've been hearing his lack of offers had more to do with character concerns than talent.

Well, LSU doesnt need any players that are going to cause behavioral problems, we already had to deal with Perrilloux and dont need any more distractions.

So maybe it is a positive he isnt comming to LSU......maybe

Character concerns? must be coming out late because all reports differ plus his interviews but i guess you never know
