Anyone watching the game? Dawan Landry is having quite a game! I didn't know he was the brother of Leron Landry btw. It sounded like they were saying Leron Landry but I do have distractions in the household. Had to look it up!
I quit watching early 3rd quarter. It was so freakin boring. Did Quinn ever throw one further than 6.5 yards? Or was it dump off after missed screen after throw away? And did anybody else see that bullshty roughing the passer call? When did SEC refs start calling Cleveland games???
Brady Quinn makes JaMarcus look like a Manning. Hopefully Quinn will get a nice fine for the low block that effed-up Suggs' knee. Josh Cribbs is the only real talent on that team. My favorite play was the Browns redzone package of 10 guys.
I remember Brady Quinn either starting or at least playing against the Broncos a few years back. It might have been Cutler's first or second year starting for the Broncos. They were comparing Cutler to Quinn, didn't that have to do with where they both were taken in the NFL draft? I seem to recall something about this. Anyway, I think Cutler is still a little better at this point!opcorn:
Quinn got his fine today. However, Suggs is out several weeks due to a severe MCL sprain. They should make Quinn pay back Suggs' game checks. The teams that passed on him in the draft obviously knew something. He was supposed to go #3,7,or 9. Browns get Thomas at #3. Peterson fell in the Viks lap at #7 then Quinn was supposed to go #9 to the Fins. Fins pick Ginn then Quinn slips to #22. What a great day! The Browns thought they struck gold after picking Joe Thomas over Quinn at #3 then getting Quinn later. Imagine if Quinn would have went #3 Realistically he did go that high becasue the Browns had to give up a future Rd1 to get him! How far would he have fell if the Browns didn't pick him? The guy is a total douche nozzle.
