And there's 100 or so other teams that would LOVE to be playing for an SEC title. So that's something!
I think we have looked very tired and sluggish the last few games. I don't know if it is the practice that has been taking a toll or the offense taking time to click that most of our first team players have to be on the field till the very end. The players have not seemed focussed all 60 mins and are perhaps tired and also getting hurt because of being tired and not focussed. They are also making a lot of mistakes leading to penalties. I don't know about the SECG but I think we should see a better team in the bowl game.
It's hard to say one play loses a game for you, but to rush 3 on 4th and 10 is really unbelievable. It's the "prevent defense," that usually doesn't work, run to perfection, with the same result . . . . a completion.
Missed FG on last play at KY (if it's good, 11-1) 4th and 10 vs Arky in OT (Mcray makes the play 12-0) You need to find more than just 2 plays that would make us 7-5, so I was correct in stating that we're closer to 12-0 than 7-5. That is a fact, not an opinion.
yes, Jersey, if we can get past the SECCG with a win, no matter how ugly, I think the Sugar Bowl looks a lot like our last two bowl games no matter who we play. Four weeks to recover will make a huge difference.
