I thought this was the "rational" post game discussion?

Winning the SEC was my hope for this season all along. The NC would've been nice, but it's not everything.

Something for the guys that like to do research. Has any team ever had the number one spot twice and lost it twice in the same season. Can't say I ever remember it happening.

Not when you're #1 this late in the season...We gave the championship away.

And losing both games as #1

And both games in the 3rd OT?

Great post! It is hard being the other teams "bowl game" every week. It takes a toll on a team. I can not wait till next Saturday and then a bowl game. I do not think they will loose another one.

We've had a hell of a season. A lot of close exciting games. I've never been much of a Les Miles fan this year. Anyone who says he hasn't made a bunch of risky and questionable calls throughout the season has had their head up their rear-end. This was a very talented team that game after game showed up unprepared and flat through the second half of this season. We where very highly penalized and that is a sign of a poorly coached and undisciplined team.

Against Arkansas our defense failed to make adjustments and our offense left a ton of points on the field. Why was Dosery still playing. God bless him he is a warrior and a Heisman candidate, but he was obviously injured and unable to get any kind of penetration throughout the game. It hurt our defensive line. Where were the blitzes and the pressure?

In conclusion, I feel we could have easily lost 3 more games this year and were lucky to squeak by and even have a shot at playing for the national championship. I think our offensive has been too gimicky for the talent that we have. We have the players to play smash mouth football and a good spread offensive. There were several times were we tried to get too cute and it bit us in the a$$. I look forward to the SECCG and a potential bowl bid. I would also like to see Miles go to where his heart is at Michigan State and Bo go eat some corn. We have excellent talent for next year and need to be higher in the recruiting rankings than we are for having such a strong team. That is all
