Tough game and I am proud of how they hung around. Arkansas played great and did what they needed to do. I never want to lose but this is the type of game to do i in, where players go out and win games. Hey, we still have Atlanta, something 10 other teams can't say. :geaux:
Tigers, thanks for an incredible ride. let's go to atl and bring back the trophy. LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU!
Offense was flat and the Secondary coverage of the kickoffs was laughable. Defense played hard as nails until they ran out of steam. We just didn't get it done when we needed to. I'll say it again. This game should not have been this close.
What hurts is that we underacheived with this talent. We'll lose the DefensiveC ,25 seniors and probably the head coach. There isn't a top 5 recruiting class coming in, there isn't Tim Tebow or Mcfaden waiting. It could be the begining of the end.Well it was fun while it lasted, we can still win the SEC championship and win the Sugar bowl.:geaux:
With all due respect, how can you post something like this? The SECCG is meaningless. If we win, we go to the Sugar Bowl. Won't that be nice we were destined for New Orleans, it's just we got their a week early. The team will see NC posters hanging all over the city before their game. No thanks.
I remember when we'd have all been excited to be going to Atlanta....and the SECCG and the Sugar Bowl. My, how times have changed. This was a great season and the team hung in as long as possible. With all the BS this week, Pelini's corn fetish and a really good Arkansas team, it's really a tribute to the Tigers that they stuck around as long as they did.... But I can't help feeling that we should've won this one, McFadden and all. Now do we want to play Georgia to help out that strength of schedule or pull for Tennessee tomorrow? Maybe our resident BCS guru will shed some light on this puzzle. Still proud to be a TIGER! ldskule:
