Why does your title say to do it against USC? And what, pray tell would you want to do "again" that you did vs FL?
Rereading my post below - sounds far more negative than I feel about the Tigers. But, like most Tiger fans, I'm getting accustomed to Top 5 finishes, so I tend to expect excellence and focus on vulnerability... Coaches Gary Crowton - Play calling this game left me a bit cold in the first half. Did we throw on first down at all? Very rarely. I've also become an anti-rotation guy at the QB position. Me no likey. Lee or bust. Co Def Coordinators - Pass pressure was awesome. And made blitzes more effective. Qbs Jarrett Lee - Started slow. Again. Lots of high throws. But decent results except for the pick. RBs Keiland Williams - definitely ran harder at times. He's still far easier to bring down, and gets less yardage after contact, than either Scott or Murphy. WR Terrance Tolliver - He's going to get close to breaking out any game now. If he jumps a tad earlier, Lee gets saved from his pick (not saying it was TT's fault at all). I think next year is his year, but I can see him having a very big game very soon. Maybe this Sat. He made a great vertical grab against USCe. TE Mitch Joesph - GREAT block on the last TD (Scott from the 3). O Line - As a group, much better against a very good defense. D Line Termaine Johnson Tyson Jackson Rahim Alem These guys played with their ears pinned back. Against USCe, very effective. LBs will have to step up, because Jawja will have a plan to exploit that kind of reckless penetration if they attempt it on Sat. Cbs Chris Hawkins - great hustle to strip that ball. Safeties - Too much jawing. Some is great. These guys aren't playing well enough consistently enough to be talking smack. Overconfident? Dunno. Chad Jones - I keep waiting for him to "arrive" but so far not much. Perhaps he's playing so well that the ball never gets close enough to him to have him in on the action?
