So the team comes down south for the first time this preseason, and immediately, 3 key players have to be carted off with cramps. IMO, this lends credence to something a lot of people, myself included, have been thinking for 3 years. Training at a semi-northern resort is sapping the team of physical toughness.
The Saints don't need to p get acclimated to 100+ degree heat indexes and 98% humidity. The play 8 home games in the air conditioned Superdome. The only deep south city they play in with weather like ours is Tampa. And that game isn't until December 11th
PJ Williams placed on injured reserve today. That's our top 5 cornerbacks on the day we started training camp, all gone (Breaux will be back). I have never heard of a team getting hammered by injuries like that, with the exception of the Pelicans every year.
