    I agree.

When I think back to the Farrer signing, I know John and Butch passed on some LA shooting guards that could have played now and given us depth.

Although apparently Mr. Voogd got a schollie from Oregon, and has sat out his year. Let's see if he hits the court this year. :hihi:

stop putting farrer and voogd in the same boat. voogd is a 1 that struggled as a sophomore in the SEC. farrer is a 2 that showed he could contribute as a sophomore in the SEC.

what am i thinking?! they are both white and from the west coast.

That's debatable at best. You can leave your sarcasm back in Oregon.

outside of temple, farrer is the best perimeter defender on the whole team.

Well, I think this closes Randy's possibility of coaching at LSU for a while... Coach Trent Johnson's completed his staff.

He adds Brent Scott from Rice and his strength and conditioning coach from Stanford. Giddyup!

I wonder how far Randy even got in the process, but I still like his NBA experience over Scott's professional experience with "16 teams". Most of that is European experience, with a 16 day stint with the Indiana Pacers. But, at least, he has some experience and seems to have good ties to Houston.
