There is plenty of reason to be worried. I can't imagine any Tiger fan not being worried. My problem is not with those who worry and make comments about the shortcomings of the offense. It is with those who place all, or even most, of the blame on E. The simple fact of the matter is we have a scrappy but only servicibel quarterback, undependable receivers, and an O line that has had serious injuries. I would argue that E has done a more than commendable job under these circumstances. How well he can do when he doesn't have these problems reamains to be seen. Perhaps he is limited... I don't know and neither does anyone else. But, for now, I certainly give him the benefit of the doubt.
Burrow is due. He was up in the Miami game, down in the SE LA game, up in the Auburn game, down in the Tech game, up in the Ole Miss game, down in the Florida game, up in the Georgia game, down in the MState game, ...see where I am with that? He's due. I have confidence. Receivers seem to following the same course.
clearly the funk was thick last night with drops, poor throws, and poor play calling by Ensminger. looked much like the fla game plan of trying not to lose
With the way Burrows was throwing and the receivers were dropping in the first half, what would you have done differently?
Can't help but think that if Burrow was on target and the receivers were catching those passes that were catchable, E's offensive play calling would have looked much smarter.
