Re: Moffitt's job? My concern is that the gap widened as the game went on. Surely this points to a disparity in conditioning?
Re: Were we gassed? First of all clown, a Safety lined up 1 on 1 with Julio Jones. There is no safety in the NCAA that can stop Julio Jones 1 on 1. Secondly if you are talking about the distance Jones put between himself and Kelvin Sheppard, you are even more of a clown, because there is absolutely no linebacker in the NCAA or NFL for that matter that is going to catch Julio on a dead sprint. And Tommy Moffit has nothing to do with this. He is the same guy Nick hired when he was the coach here. You can get off that, because you are completely wrong. Take the negativity back to TigerDroppings, or Tidefans wherever it is you come from.
Recruiting affected? Everyone seems to agree that these type of performances will definitely have a negative impact on recruiting. Looking forward, my concern is what will we sell the recruits on? Being #3 in the SEC West behind Ole Miss?
Re: Recruiting affected? Does your mom know you are sneaking the computer? Did you not here Danielson say before the game that 25 seniors were being looked at in that game as future NFL prospects from both teams? Just Seniors. Yeah im sure that really crushed all of our recruiting hopes and dreams.
Re: Scott's injury - serious? Yep. He is done. Not only did Bama extend their streak on us, they tore the heart out of our "running attack". What shall we do against Ole Miss and Arkansas?
Clarification on the incomplete pass... It has now surfaced that Peterson's first foot down actually touched the white paint, which is out-of-bounds. This was confirmed by the replay booth and was the reason that the call on the field was not reversed. This means that the second foot and consequent divot that we have all been ranting about were actually irrelevant. Real glad to have this cleared up. Reminds me a lot of Wayne Kiffin's [imaginary] "helmet" penalty...
