Twenty-tooth? Is that in the second round or the first? If a team needs a QB, I would pick Tebow with the first pick. Since day one I have said you also get a second or third round run-n-shoot quarterback for a new full time offensive scheme. Stack both QB's behind center in shotgun and after defensive personnel are committed to the play two decisions are made: Bring Tebow or other QB behind the line or stay in shotgun; A second decision, dependent on defensive personnel, is whether the remaining QB stays as a FB or moves to TE (Tebow) or goes to a Flanker slot or stay in backfield as an additional RB. QB's make play calls. Requires a high degree of improvisation and trust but the Colts gave that to Manning and Denver gaver it to Elway and Tennessee gave it to Vince Young when he could play. Offensive Coordinators would be giddy with the possibilities and opposing Defensive Coordinators would need hospitalization for migraines and ulcers.
maybe slive should sent kiffie another reminder that he expects the coaches in the sec to know ncaa rules on recruiting. :rolleye33:
I predict that several posters will get in a huge debate/arguemet over who the Starting QB should be! :geauxtige:geauxtige :geauxtige:geauxtige
I wonder why all the other coaches in the SEC seem to be able to not break the recruiting rules, but the Tennessee coaches can't? I have a feeling though that the recruiting rules are probably more convoluted than the hunting and fishing regulations. Has anyone out there actually read and understood the rules put out by the wildlife and fisheries department of La. "A fish acquiring apparatus is legally defined as.... blah, blah, blah" Even attorneys fall asleep reading that booklet! How many reds can I keep? (see art 3 section 5 subsection 12) Not taking up for Kiffen at all.
