Sitting here waiting on our ride to the game and the bottom just fell out, it is raining hard in Hundred Oaks, don't know about campus. No wind or lightning, but a really intense rainstorm. Bring your rain jackets folks and expect muddy shoes if its raining on campus. Could be a wet field tonight. Looks like more scattered storms coming in off the gulf. I don't mind a rain game in warm weather, but I HATE lightning delays.
Current New Orleans NEXRAD Radar Map : Weather Underground These storms are almost stationary. Campus will be a mess, but the field will be fine. Game doesn't start until 8pm, and these are daytime heating storms. They'll die off and the field has great drainage.
Been raining on campus. Not as bad as other areas, I hear. But good enough to have everyone under tents. Hoping it clears off and stays that way.
