    Nobody apparently evens wants this job anymore.

    And rightfully so.

    Raiders are disputing reports that they have decided to make interim head coach Tom Cable the new head coach of the Oakland Raiders.

    I kinda thought they would go after Gruden again. I don't recall the situation with him leaving or if there was any bad blood, but he was the only coach in recent memory who's had success there and knows how to deal with Davis.

    Gruden says he would coach high school if he had to. :insane:

    He may have to. His former players certainly have no love for him as shown by his team in Tampa basically quitting on him.

    there was lots of reported bad blood with gruden and Al. Gruden wanted out bad because of Al. Al wouldn't let him go because he was in high demand and wanted something back, hence the first trade of cash/picks for a coach in NFL history. Also the last if I remember correctly, the NFL made a change where you couldn't do that anymore.
