    All of the names of the dead I have seen so far are Latin, I guess this was mostly a club for little gay Latin fellas. Poor bastards just trying to blow each other and have some tequila. What sort of country have we become where we can't defend these guys and let them bugger each other in peace and safety

    Orlando has a hospitality-based industry so lots of gays live and work there. There is a significant Puerto Rican population and there are dozens of gay bars in Orlando. Last night at Pulse was Latin Night which just basically means they don't pay for their drinks but they are willing partners after you get plastered.

    Shot first in a very crowded bar at last call. Of those who didn't or couldn't get away, they were hostages for 3 hours. I'm pretty it's what you said, he just fired at will and killed all of them.

    Looks like the toll could have easily been 80 as 30 of them were held hostage and ended up getting out alive after police finally barged in.
