At any rate the point is that a total ban, and even if they raided our houses and melted down all the "assault rifles" on the planet, it wouldn't change the body count much.

Perhaps if there are outdoor shootouts where the bad guys have to aim at people from range. But that never ever happens.

Even the tel aviv thing a few days ago was pistols I think.

I think bad guys bring the rifles just to be cool. Pistols are fine for terrorism.

 

You cant run much from a bomb. At least you and zig zag guns!!

 

it simply depends which gun you can shoot best. An AR has crazy muzzle velocity and creates a pretty big exit wound. thats probably what they meant. Its biggest plus to me is almost no recoil which makes it accurate as f. An AK has a bigger caliber so more stopping power so to speak and has more recoil. so that makes it less accurate to me.

a pistol is much harder to shoot regarding accuracy. But if you're shooting fish in a barrel even you can kill a room full of people with it after an hr of practice. it helps if you dont hold it sideways however.

223 rounds are small and very fast, 9 mm bigger and slower
in the end its all about speed and mass. They real question i think you after revolves around how quick you can acquire a target and squeeze off a round. my experience is that in close quarters a pistol allows for quicker acquisition and a faster shot. think of the old western quick draws.

 

Shotgun for cq's. Messy, but a crowd tamer for sure. Problem is reload with bigger crowds, so a pistols/ shotgun combo would be ideal

 

Maybe the gay community will wake up and fight back.
