Suspect dead in Amarillo Walmart Hostage situation. Workplace violence cited but they are not releasing his name.

No one else hurt. SWAT took him out.

 

Most people probably don't realize the malfunctioning bombs at Columbine. Had they worked the carnage that would've taken place would've been so much worse. They knew where everyone would evacuate to so planted bombs there. It's why "false alarms" have to be taken seriously. Someone could pull a fire alarm to see where everyone will evacuate to and plant bombs there.

i would bet that has more to do with absolute numbers of 9mm weapons out there. i was in the Marines when we switched from .45 to 9 mm. and almost to man we preferred the old 1911s. although you only had 8 rounds, that .45 packs a serious wallop compared to the 9mm

 

How often does a marine actually use a handgun in combat?

Seems like if you are using handgun you have made some bad decisions

ok, martin...different jobs carry different weapons..in my 12 years i carried everything from a .45/9mm to a m60. while a communicator i carried a pistol, and as a SNCO my service weapon was a pistol.
