Gun control only stops a tiny amount of killing, if any at all.

Again, Paris and Brussels got lit the fuck up

Explain to me why reducing the problem by 10%, 20% or 50% shouldn't be done because it can't be 100% effective. Where is the logic in that? Isn't making things harder for the enemy and reducing his effectiveness a smart move?

I dunno that you would even have 10 percent reduction of gun violence.

Overall assault rifle deaths are DOWN after the ban was lifted. FYI.

Martin is right. It won't change a single thing.

Chicago, but I do think we should be keeping guns out of the hands of people on the no fly list or terrorist watch list.

The overwhelming majority of assault rifles are owned by preppers. Another strange group but not mass murderers. I ate lunch with one today. I told him I probably should buy an AR while I could. He said he had four. This, after telling me there were some guns he wanted to add but hasn't gotten the chance (spare cash).

He also tried to tell me my 9mm's were useless. I wasn't going to change his mind but I did tell him the stopping power tween that and a .40 was a wash with the right ammo that's available these days. I told him I'd read up pretty extensively before buying and that FBI studies don't back up what he was trying to say. I forgot to tell him there are more people killed by 9mm than any other caliber.

I don't think you would either, just look at Chicago.

Ask the people of France. Take away guns and they'll use bombs. At least with guns we have a chance.

Because it wont reduce much of anything and the cost of liberty isnt worth that.

Lets try this again for the reading impaired. Are you aware how easy it is to make a pipe bomb? Do you know how many those teenagers built for Columbine? Maybe we should ban propane even if it saves just one life.
