    I've got a pistol. I fire it once a year at a range to ensure it still works as advertised and that I can come reasonably close to hitting what I'm aiming at. Why in the world would a normal, law abiding person need a pistol capable of firing 100 rounds?

    Every gun can fire a 100 rounds. And id bet that if you would give me 7 magazines and id bet id out shoot in speed and accuracy 99% of the idiots who would buy a 100 round magazine for a pistol.
