Is there any doubt that he was mispronouncing Arkansas on purpose? He neither faltered, nor did he ever crack a smile...
It's pronounced like that because kansas and Ar-kansas couldn't agree who's Kansas' it was. The Lower Kansinites said " it's our kansas" but the Upper Kansinians said " no it's our kansas". So instead of fighting to the death the Lower Kansintes created their own Kansas called Ourkansas and through the thousands of years the correct pronounciation was lost and is now called Ar-kansas. It turned out good for the Lower Kansonions, they have the Razorbacks,a team that has one of the greatest running backs of all time, they get to claim the south as their home, and they get to play LSU every year. Now that much cannot be said for their brothers to the north. They have the Jayhawks,a team that has one of the most embarrasing schedules, they have to claim the mid-west, and they get to be exposed as a fraud in the Big 12 CG.
He said "Arkansas" correctly at the very beginning of the press conference, then for the rest he said "r-kansas."
 That was so good, I had to Google it to make sure you hadn't snuck some historical truth in there somewhere....of course it's all ingenious BS (except the part I've highlighted)! Nice job! Just for fun, here's what Google revealed...
I'm sure CLM could have a blast mocking the way that some of us coonazzes talk to. I mean really who gives a flip?? ......but it is kinda funny.
I didn't hear the beginning. I have heard him say R-Kansas a lot before. Perhaps Arkansas was a slip.
