    Hope the call from Bennett wasn't a last stitch effort to sway RJJ to UT. My guess it was a little :lsup: LSU! :lsup: LSU! :geauxtigs

    I was there when Jackson and Lafel declared for LSU. At the end of the news conference I yelled GEAUX TIGERS and they both smiled and pumped their fist in the air. Awsum! Jackson is bigger than I thought. Questions?

    both of them were on their phones the entire time (45 min) I was there prior to the announcement. Voice and text messages. I will tell you that they were whispering to each other and smiling alot. It could be that they were just happy that it was over. I do not know about any M. Bennett phone call.

    Have to agree with everyone else here, it's good to have quality visiting fans like AustinTXHorn on the board. Thanks for the info we needed some good recruiting news really bad.

    They announced at Boudreaux's restaurant. No wonder they are coming to LSU, they want more of that great cajun food!

    Has there been any discussion about either of these guys moving to CB? I saw that one of them (RJ, I think) had 70+ tackles, 8 INT's, with 4 returned for TDs...

    Just thinking we're a bit loaded at WR, but can ALWAYS use a great converted CB (a la Webster.)

    I haven't seen him mentioned as a CB but I've seen several post mentioning him as a posible safety and the insiders lists him as a RB/S, but projects him as a running back. Also it was LaFell with the 70+ tackles and he is projected to stay at WR but you know how that goes.
