Hopefully that quote doesn't surprise anyone here. I'm not sure if he's the worst ever but he's working on it. That doesn't mean he can't end up having a very good college career, it just means he is no where near ready to play at this point. Proper message board etiquette requires you post a link when quoting articles.

And let me guess the line that came after that "Mark Sanchez is Jesus and Pete Carroll is "God""

My question is: Would Lee's throws for interceptions be better for anyone if they weren't run back for TD's? I just don't see how you can put so much blame on one person when there is ten other men on the field.

Lee is just a young quarterback who was thrown to the wolves rather being gradually introduced to it. Freshmen throw interceptions, they always have. And he's far from the worst quarterback I've seen. Lee is just playing for a higher profile team.

Because the QB position is the most important on the field from a leadership and performance viewpoint. It doesnt matter if they didnt return the ints for TDs, they still happened.

I dont think Lee is the worst, but he isnt really improving on a game to game basis.

Yes. 7 free points for the opponent < loss of possession.

If an INT is returned for a TD - the defender usually did not have to make an athletic, diving play. It means that our QB is hitting defenders in stride going the other direction.

Remember Ainge's INT in the 4th quarter of the SEC Title Game last year? It's like that........x 6.

Trust me we get plenty of the USC love over here. It is sickening. and Petey whining about how the BCS sucks. I generally just pass up the articles with USC.

Agreed. We haven't talked much about it here, but can't anyone on the offense "tackle" somebody?

You understand when a quick throw to the sideline gets picked, nobody may be in front of them, like Zenon picked one last year and took it in (Tenn ?).

But against Bama, and several others this year, the ball is being picked 50 yds away from the goal, with plenty of folks between them and the end zone. Not all of that is on Lee. Some of the offensive players look dis interested, like "its not my job". Poor teamwork...

That safety was playing DEEP centerfield (deeper than any other player on the field).
I watched the replay and paused it right before he got to the sideline.
There was SEVEN guys in white around him (he was around the 32 yard line).
SOMEBODY should have been able to stop him.

    I saw this elsewhere...

It's definitely not just LSU fans that notice it.
