Metts release takes far too long. As far as overthrowing passes, this is completely new to Mett. In fact, he's always tended to throw low and/or under-throw receivers which lends me to believe that the coaches wanted him to take shots but emphasized to him that he should er on the side of caution and throw long to avoid turnovers. It's frustrating but I'll take zero turnovers. Hopefully he can get his timing and touch down a little more for Bama.
Great more development of players threads. I must concede Miles only takes time out of each practice to develop everything but QB's and WRs. He makes them bake cakes for the rest of the team during practice...
Look, you seem to have good insight, and you try to maintain the big picture. I get and appreciate that. But, others do have opinions and belittling that isn't insightful. For over 5 years, the offense has essentially looked the same despite different asst coaches, and different players. That leads many to question CLMs expertise and involvement in the offense. Clearly, he is a great HC, his record alone allows that description. But, our offense is putrid, and it has his meddling fingerprints all over it. No, I do not question whether they are working on it in practice vs baking cakes, but clearly the offensive scheme, and practice methods are not as effective as one would expect for a top 10 upper echelon year in and year out team. We win despite our offense. If we don't have the athletes we have, the great D and STs, the TOs, our offense couldn't beat anyone. It's sad and frustrating. I love our winning, and will take that any day of the week over prior losing seasons, but come on, we can do better on offense. Hire a proven OC whose philosophy you can live with and hand over the reins. Just like he has done w/Chavis on D. Of course, they try and work on it, but the methods and schemes are clearly the problems over a long stretch of time.

2 rushing TD's and a passing TD say otherwise.. The problem is that Les has hired OC's. They just haven't worked out. I attack silly things like, Les does nothing to improve the O and Les doesn't develop talent. Its stupid really and only my opinion of course.
