From Dallas Morning news: "Moore complimented LSU's Offensive line."
"Probably the most talented offensive line we have played here," he said. "They were talented athletically and they had the mean streak that you want."

Very nice of him to say but, how does that translate into 97 yards passing on 11-29 passing? Got to be the coaching of the "skill" positions right?

Oh, I have no problem with our running game. My point was 97 yards on 11-29 passing against a defense that gave up 70 points the week before to La Tech.

Tell me again how Mett missing wide open receivers is the o-line's fault.

I can't answer that one. The only thing I can come up with is he is playing scared, not wanting to turn it over so he overthrows.

Do you guys have a filter on your TV that hides the dropped passes?

yeah, as the game went on, he was getting good protection. he just missed on the long passes. BGriese said that the fact the were always "overthrown" meant that he was trying to make too perfect of a pass, as opposed to just putting it up to a place where his receivers could run it down. Don't know how accurate that is, but he should know QB technique. Did the wind mess w/Mett more? It was 15mph on the field, and they change direction every qtr.

Blocking wasnt the problem. Two weeks in a row a reshuffled depleted OL preformed well.

i have no idea on that, shouldn't those problems have been worked on during camp or early in the season against some of the cupcakes that turned out to be final exams? Or last year? There is no reason why 4-5* players and backups can be so bad at pitch and catch. I don't want to oversimplify the passing game, but we have the talent to have the kind of aerial shows some other teams have.

I did notice he seemed to be taking longer in his motion and release on most of those overthrows.
