I was being sarcastic and basically saying that we'll bring in Pete Carroll and make everyone happy. I'm not happy about last night in the least, but wow... people really need to take a break for a few days and come back when things seem a little better. Can't wait to see what everyone is posting next Saturday, I just hope no one leaps off the ledge.

There were quite a few upset fans then, though I'll agree that the method to losing this game has brought out a much louder chorus of disapproval

Are you serious? We manage a dismal 3 points of offense against UF, and lose the Bama game due to worse then piss poor officiating PLUS a piss poor offensive outing, and no one was upset over those losses? Riiiiiight.
We have struggled in EVERY game this season on offense minus the Tulame and Au-Bumms and why? We have real legit threats up and down the line of scrimmage on offense. There's no reason we should be struggling to gain 10 yards before kicking it away.
It's very very apparent that Crowton is lost and has no clue how to right our offense. Short of allowing our seniors to use him as a tackling dummy at practice, there's no way he can make it up to the seniors on this team.

Please read my post that you quoted again.

    I said AS upset.

I think you'll agree this loss was on another level.

Which explains why everybody in Tigerland is over-the-top p*ssed.

    THAT was my point.

I think it's cumulative. The fold at the end of last season was the beginning if some fans' dissatisfaction with the way the team's being led. The flat performances and narrow wins against opponents that are clearly vastly inferior in talent. The lack of development and progress of the players. The inability or unwillingness of the staff to make week to week or in game adjustments to put the team in position to win. The losses to 3 hated rivals in games that were tough, yet winnable. The perception by some of lack of guts in not speaking out aginst the poor officiating in the 'Bama game. The head up the butt clueless leadership at the end if the OM game. The lack of stepping up to take respondibility for it as head coach. That all adds up to the situation fans find themselves in now.

IMO it is not at all disloyal to demand excellence when you have the resources and talent this team has now.
