Just wondering if anyone could help me out with this...

With LSU and UGA in the BCS, do the payouts ($13M or whatever it is) go evenly to all SEC schools, or do LSU and UGA get a bigger share because they actually made it to the "grown up table"?

    Thanks

red55 can correct me if I'm wrong, but the BCSCG payout goes to the SEC after we are reimbursed for bowl expenses. It goes into a pot with the payouts from the other bowls SEC schools are playing in and is equally divided among the SEC schools at some point in 2008.

You are correct, the money is divided evenly between Georgia, LSU and Vandy and Ole Miss

    Miss St:Liberty Bowl $1.7 Million
    Bama: Independence $1.1 Million
    Kentucky: Music City $1.5 Million
    Auburn: ChickFilA $2.4 Million
    Tenn.: Outback $3 Million
    Arkansas: Cotton $3 Million
Florida: Cap 1 Bowl $4.25 Million
    Georgia: Sugar $4.5 Million*
    LSU: NC Game $17 Million

    Total Bowl Payouts: $38.45 Million

    That's why the Bowls ain't goin no-whea.

Oh the irony of all the bowl-bound SEC temas and Bama giong to the one with the smallest pay-out.
