Question for CParso or any other experts

    I don't want to start another Rueben Randle thread but that thread has really gotten off the topic. With the recent comments that RR may not take his official to LSU, is that good news for us? Who do ya'll think we close out with in this class? What are the chances with Randle ? Have ya'll heard any new news? Man I hope we get him, DeBose, Loston and Montgomery. What do you think?

    As I mentioned in the RR thread it is still a battle between LSU and Bama and he may not take official visits to either. That is good for LSU because we do not really want him going to get the treatment at Bama and he has been to LSU many may times this year. I would say LSU is looking really good at this point even without the news he may not take his official to Bama. Even if he takes an official to Bama, I would still say LSU lands him.

    Isistl can make a few adjustments but this is how I think we finish out.

    Locks/Stong Leans

    Loston
    Randle
    Debose
    Mingo
    Benton
    Very possible

    Filo
    Jones or Telfort or Tahj Jones
    Myles or Johns
    Montgomery or Stinson or Dye or Bennie Logan

    Even though Montgomery list us as his leader I still think it will be hard to pull him out of SC because of the distance and Earl Lane may not be on our staff. Dye to LSU if he doesn't make the grades for Miami

    Filo is battling the distance factor as well but LSU is making him think hard about his decision.

    I like our chances with Myles but Johns is a nice backup plan.

    Bennie Logan and Tahj Jones are the backup plans at DE and LB. Tahj could be a sign and place if he doesn't qualify but he is close.

    IMO, things are starting to add up its not looking good for LSU. The comments towards sidestepping both Bama and LSU might be a hint hes going to OU. I don't people think they aren't in it but hes shown a lot of interest to them lately. If you don't go to LSU, pick anyone that isn't Bama, that is the local pressure and I think hes caving into it.

    He went to one game there with a few of his teammates. Better chance at playing time early at LSU or Bama. DIstance will be the main factor and OU is too far for the family to travel.

    I think the conspiracy theories are getting out of hand. Being a quiet person is translating to conspiracy to many fans.

    Not sure it's so much conspiracy theorists as it is reliving what we went through with McKnight. Add to that we're talking Bama instead of USC, and you have yourself the makings of some irrational thought.

    I don't think OU is a real player, not this late in the game and not with the little bit of contact he has had with OU officials. Bradford stands an excellent chance to be gone, as he will be projected a top 5 pick, and possibly #1 overall to Detroit.

    Well, I know a few things have started to make me scratch my head about him. By no means do I compare this to the Mcknight situation, RR's family doesn't belong in such a low category. Hes nothing like Mcknight, hes just quiet.

    But things over the past month I've seen/read/heard is really starting to make me think hes not going to LSU. I believe we were the team to beat at one time but now its anyone's guess. Bowl game might be the deciding factor if he comes here, IMO. I think hes really concerned about our QB situation and lets hope JJ tears it up, that can only be attractive. But things have started to make me wonder, like his brother has stopped posting on LSU sites. He said it was because of asshats but is that a sign for us? I remember him writing a few weeks ago saying that since his brother has showed interest in Miami again, he was going to cool off, now hes saying hes going to stop posting. And in his farewell post the way he worded his last few sentences made it sound like he wasn't going to LSU...

    I know its looking into it too much and I don't really do this but something about this guy is making me uneasy. Just don't have a good feeling about him anymore. Only thing in LSU's way, IMO, is the QB situation. If JJ can proves hes the guy against GT...I think we land him. If he struggles, I don't believe RR is going to want to put his faith in RS as the future. Plus the coaching turmoil and fans questioning Miles all season, has to be on his mind. I'm sure Bama is using that against Miles, trying to say stuff like he won with Saban's recruits, blah blah. Just my 2 cents.

    Aaron is fluckin with folks. Living vicariously through his brother. I'm not saying he's not posting good or bad info (haven't read any of it because I only post on here) but it is VERY conceivable that HE doesn't even know what RR is gonna do. If RR wants to be secretive about this, the last thing he wants to do is tell his brother who can be a bit of a big mouth...and who's clearly soaking in the glory that would've been his as well had he grown a few more inches.

    I agree, he has even said numerous times he doesn't know what RR is going to do. He has stopped posting on all sites from what I understand, not just LSU sites.

    One of RR's 1st interviews this year he mentioned that he was going to let his brother enjoy what he didn't get to experience because he wasn't recruited by big schools. RR said that he was into those kind of things but he wasn't.

    Might explain why RR was "pissed" and "bored" at the LSU/Bama game because of his brother leaving him hanging and trying to get laid :lol:

    Directly from his brother's mouth. Would you ditch your brother for some ass at a game?

    It was actually before the game. RR was mad because he was standing outside the Hyatt waiting for his bro to pick him up.:lol:

    Maybe we can band toether and set RR and his brother up with some nice a$$ we can end this thing. Make his trips to Baton Rouge even more worthwhile.:D
