Yeah well if you remember we got screwed over royally on TV exposure for basketball this year in large part because of this little arrangement.
I don't know for sure, but I would guess that both CSS and CST retain rights to show a replay if they film it themselves. But every game will be shown live and available one way or another to watch, so CST replays won't be the only way to watch it. As I recall if a game was shown by FSN, I was able to watch it on cable and/or satellite. We got hosed on what games were selected, and I don't remember if it was FSN or Raycom that canceled the MSU game, but that sucked. I don't see how that applies to the 7 football games though, they should be on FSN South / Sunshine Sports on satellite which may be blacked out outside of the area and be on GamePlan only. Again FSN Southwest should have the games on cable in LA, AR, and parts of TX. But if a game isn't on FSN, it's still guaranteed to be on another network. Thanks for the info. But I'm stuck with Cox, so that's a problem if FSN drops the ball (again) with coverage. Cox customers still don't get ESPNU on their basic package. GamePlan isn't an option, and we can't even watch game replays online on 360. So this deal is making me a little nervous, especially because of basketball (non)coverage.
Although written from a Kentucky basketball perspective, this article really goes point-by-point of how the entire TV selection process works: ESPN network of choice for UK games | KentuckySports.com Meanwhile, this one says we can expect the schedule for the first few weeks to be announced at Media Days. Also there will be a new "SEC on ESPN" logo: The Slophouse SEC to announce first 3 weeks of TV schedule next week
