    Obviously not Terry, but Bama's President Dr. Witt spoke a few nights ago about how they have the money but in comparison to other things they werent going to go through with it this year mainly due to the oncoming recession. Between bonds and making sure pending donors dont bail they delayed the expansion. You also have to factor in hotel expansion that could be delayed but is needed to room extra fans and other things of that nature.

    I mean this in the nicest way possible:

    While your recruits are talking about attendance at a spring game, ours are talking about being DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPS

    Myself personally, when arguing the merits of one school vs another, I give a LOT more weight to a National Title than I do spring game attendance.

    Especially since one stays forever and something like a spring game is more of a instant momentum booster but tails off -- like FSU's banquet.

    Plus Im think a lot of the comments about the sprig game came from recruits that were asked about it, rather than speaking about it without be questioned. Spring game = Lohan. NC = Alba. One was just a temporary fix before becoming a disease-infested hooker.

    Sorry guys.......................I win. I made a bet with the wife. I said that I haven't been to the LSU board in a while, think that I'll cruise on over and see what's happening down on the bayou. I'll bet you that a Saban/Bama thread will be in the top 5.
