Actually Harris didnt play football until High School. Wasn't a QB until his Junior Season.

Not really. Difference against Bama was that our Offensive Line was completely dominated. Difference against Arkansas was that our defense gave up 3 long TD plays, at least 2 of which were due to undisciplined play in the secondary. The reality is that Harris has done a decent job for a 1st year starter. He definitely missed some throws yesterday, but it's just too simplistic to blame every loss on the QB when there are other obvious problems with the team's performance.

55% completion percentage for the season so far is not a whole lot better than Jennings' 42% last year and I think Jennings is a better runner. (I detest Jennings by the way). Something's got to give. Play calling, coaching, something!

The Oline has been AAWFUL. Probably the worst unit on the team.

And that says a lot considering the total lack of depth on D.

We all knew that when we weren't working on our passing game earlier in the season it would be a problem. Harris just wasn't prepared for that type of game. He didn't get the in game Reps. It is what it is. Kiffin would have had this offense ready but our defense is so suspect

The hope is a new coach and new system can coach up a QB. Kind of like the teams who kick our ass do. A lot of coaches take the same level of talent and develop it. Again, thats the hope. Harris was highly recruited, but that doesn't mean he cant be a bust.

Also, if Harris cant be developed, who knows what a different coach and system could do with McMillan or this Purdue transfer kid.
