because that defense would have eaten Jefferson alive.
In a tie/7 point game is not the time to go to Jefferson.
9 out of 10, he'll be pummeled and fail miserably. Then his head may be messed up.
You can't have 2 QBs on the roster that're phucked up mentally.

Not for him to go in and take over, but to put him in for a series or 2 to change the pace up and give Lee a kick in the damn ass.

If Lee knows that Jefferson isnt gonna come in there is no fear of god.

My only guess is that these genius coaches think Jefferson is THAT much worse, but I can't see how anyone could do any worse than 13/34 4 INTs 1 pick six... I think there are a couple of us here on TF that could put up better numbers.

think back to the '03 UGA game.

Richt put in DJ Shockley for a series. Saban's troops licked their chops and came at that kid from directions he didn't even know existed. Dude fell apart and UGA went backwards.

Ok that Defense was NO WHERE near what we were playing today.

And it was in Tiger Stadium when they were backed up damn near to their endzone.

I see what you are getting at.....but what we are doing now isnt stopping the backwards slide either.

Fast forward to the Bama vs LSU game tonight.
Lee fell apart and we went backwards, same results.
The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again without good results.

I thought it was repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Someone please tell me at what point in this game did y'all honestly think to yourself

"Hey here's an idea. Let's put in a true freshman with 1 career pass attempt against a Nick Saban defense that didn't respect the pass AT ALL."

And by that, I don't mean "Lee sucks get rid of him"

I mean really and truly, where would y'all have inserted JJ?

Never did we really start any drives in good field position.

So y'all would have put him in backed up in his own territory in a tie game, or down 7?
    Are you serious?
That is a recipe for disaster.

It was a disaster either way, no?
Would you call 4 picks in a game, one for a td a disaster?
How about averaging a pick 6 every game, is that a disaster?
Would you call, averaging 2 picks a game a disaster?

Ohio State must've been stupid for playing TP in the USC game on this year.
